Throughout my years working with various companies and schools in the outdoor industry, I've observed a significant gap in their programs: Environmental Education. While leadership and outdoor skills emphasizing resilience and teamwork are often prioritized, programs involving marine life might limit students to basic activities like snorkeling and just identifying fish on a Fish ID slate. Similarly, hikes through rainforests sometimes overlook the diverse life forms in pursuit of reaching the destination quickly. This is where my expertise becomes valuable. I have attended numerous trainings and classes where information overload is common, and everything feels like straight out of a textbook. However, here at OE with Chadel, I focus on teaching simple methods to absorb information effortlessly, and sharing techniques to inspire students to learn alongside you.
